Welcome!  My name is Beata Dering.  This will be my 8th year teaching Kindergarten at Kennedy.  I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelors in Child and Family Studies and a Masters from Roosevelt University in Early Childhood Education.  Before coming to Kennedy, I worked as a Pre-K teacher in Chicago.  Aside from teaching, I love to spend time with my family, watch movies, travel and dine out.  Some of my favorite things are Starbucks, Target and pizza.  I am looking forward to being your child's teacher this year!
